Guests at The House can relax in style knowing that they're staying in one of the most exclusive properties on the island. Created as a serene retreat for adults, the 'House Ambassadors' really pull out all the stops with complimentary champagne breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening canapés amongst the delights to be enjoyed here. Beach dining is available on request and for delicious Italian cuisine guests can stroll next door to Daphne's Restaurant, also owned by Elegant Hotels and made famous by it's renowned counterpart in London. The hotel also operates a complimentary Water Taxi service for transportation between select Elegant Hotels on the West Coast so guests have the choice of various other restaurants at these hotels as well.

The thirty-four suites at The House are minimalist but luxurious. Each one enjoys beautiful tropical garden or sea views and is equipped with all the modern luxuries you would expect from a five-star property such as marble bathrooms, air-conditioning, iPod docks, Egyptian cotton bedding, flat screen TV, complimentary WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar and so on. All guests at The House can enjoy a 30 minute jet lag massage per stay.

The One-Bedroom Suites also feature Nespresso machines and upgraded bathroom amenities and guests staying in these rooms also benefit from a complimentary meet and greet service at the airport and an extended1 1 hour jet lag massage.

The House is set on Barbados' famed West Coast, just 35 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Bridgetown. This is part of the island's St James region.

Absolutely ideal for couples, The House is one of the most beautiful boutique properties to be found in the Caribbean. The service here is impeccable and guests can enjoy being waited on hand and foot. The champagne breakfasts and evening canapés are a lovely touch and really set the tone for the hotel. This is the most beautiful part of Barbados' coastline and there are various excellent restaurants along the beach that guests can wander along to.

Rates include a 30 minute jet-lag massage (1 per person, per stay), Champagne breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés. A dinner supplement is available between 1st May and 30th September.

Children under the age of 18 are not permitted at the hotel.

There are minimum stay policies in place for the peak seasons of February 1 - 28 and December 22 - January 2.

Whilst The House does not have it's own Spa, guests are welcome at the Spa at it's sister hotel, Tamarind, just next door, which offers a range of treatments and salon services.

The House guests also benefit from preferred tee times at Apes Hill Golf Course.

There are various water sports on offer at The House and it is worth noting that some of the motorised watersports are complimentary in addition to the non-motorised ones.
