With a private beach, spa and some unique dining options, 20 Degres Sud is the ideal hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming property, near enough to lots of attractions to explore, but providing a tranquil haven for when you want to relax. The hotel has 36 rooms, some larger suites but all individually decorated with white and creamy colours in a very homelike way.

The hotel’s Belgian owners have been particularly creative when it comes to the dining options, so along with eating in the hotel restaurant they also offer a gastronomic cruise, whereby 8 people nightly can dine aboard the hotel’s 1920s boat, Lady Lisbeth, or another option is to indulge in a catamaran trip to a wonderful restaurant found in a 19th century ruin on a nearby island.

Hidden behind a huge oak carriage door on the north coast of Mauritius lies 20 Degrés Sud, a boutique, adult-only resort sheltered within a coconut grove just steps from the waters edge. The town of Grand Baie is just minutes away with a free shuttle to take guests a couple of times a day, perfect for anyone wishing to try some local restaurants.

Despite the smallish beach this is one of our favourite properties on the island for honeymooners and couples in particular as well feel it really ticks all the boxes. The intimate and romantic feeling of the hotel really blows you away, and if you want to head out in the evening then you’ve got all of the bars and restaurants of Grand Baie less than 10 minutes away!

20 Degrés Sud is set at Pointe Malartic, just a 10 minute drive from the many shops, restaurants and bars of Grand Baie.

The hotel offers stays on a Half-Board basis.
