The lodge is luxurious and incredibly stylish, with light, airy spaces that combine the flavours of Africa with the Mozambican coastline’s Portuguese heritage. The main area of the lodge includes an extensive library, a well-stocked boutique shop and plenty of dining tables for those rare occasions when the weather doesn’t call for dining under the stars. Down on the beach swaying palms tower over the white sand and a traditional dhow sailing boat has found it’s calling, converted into a swanky bar, a wonderful spot to enjoy your evening cocktails.
The lodge’s bedrooms all lie horizontally to the beach, with wide doors and windows providing beautiful ocean views. The lattice walls to the rooms provide a steady cooling breeze off the ocean, and the private infinity pools on the deck of each lodge offer a welcome respite from the heat. Each villa's vastly spacious deck also encompasses a sheltered dining area, sun loungers by the plunge pool as well as just below the villa on the beach, and also a swinging day bed, perfect for those midday naps. Within the rooms themselves there is every luxury you could wish for, including a roll top bath, minibar and an outdoor shower area. For families there is the Casa Familia, which boasts three bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and a vast deck with a private swimming pool.
