Dulini occupies a splendid setting beneath a canopy of ancient Ebony and Leadwood trees. The main lodge areas have a wonderful colonial feel, and provide plenty of comfortable spots to sit and enjoy the day when not out on game drives. The viewing deck also provides a great spot from which to game view throughout the day. There is a beautiful dining boma that is lit up at night by hundreds of candles and lanterns and a roaring fire. Dinners are served in several locations, all with delicious cuisine and a collection of South Africa’s finest wines from the wine cellar.

The six luxurious suites are spread out in the shade along the riverbank, all with fantastic river views, vast en-suite bathrooms, and outdoor showers. All of the suites come with every luxury you could wish for such as air-con, mini-bar, and Wi-Fi. The spacious deck outside also provides a great space for relaxing in the sun, enjoying some private dinners, or cooling off in the private plunge pool.

Dulini Lodge is located on the 65,000 hectare world-famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve which adjoins the Kruger National Park. The lodge itself is set on the banks of the Mabrak River the in the Exeter Private Game Reserve and has a game viewing area of 10,000 hectares. Being set in a private reserve brings the incalculable advantage of not having to worry about any self-drives tourists or the countless number of game vehicles that are found in the Kruger National Park.

With no boundary fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger National Park wildlife can move around freely and guests can enjoy sightings of a huge diversity of wildlife including the famous Big 5. As Dulini Lodge is set on a private concession the guides have the luxury of being able to drive off-road, providing you with the best possible sightings and photographic opportunities.

Dulini offers a really exclusive and personalised experience that leaves guests with wonderful memories. Rates exclude: safari shop purchases, gratuities, champagne, cognacs, fine wines, premium brand spirits and cigars, conservancy or park fees, landing and departure fees.

Game viewing vehicles are equipped with binoculars, fleece lined ponchos and camera stands.

Dulini Lodge can be reached by road or air. The drive from Johannesburg is approximately 310 miles and takes around 5-6 hours. Alternatively guests can fly to Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport), or Hoedspruit Airport, on commercial airlines. On arrival you would be met by your guide and transferred the remaining distance to the lodge by road. Air charter flights are also available to a Sabit Sands airstrip. The flight time from Johannesburg is about 90 minutes. There are also flights between the Kruger and Vilanculous in Mozambique should guests be travelling to or from the beach.
