Perched high above the chocolate-box village of Broadway in The Cotswolds lies The Farncombe Estate – 400 acres of glorious sprawling forest and field, inundated with rambling trails and cycle routes, and home to Foxhill Manor, and it's sister properties The Fish and Dormy House. The estate is about an hour and a half from London by car.

With over 400-acres to explore & enjoy, guests need never leave but should they wish to then they have Broadway, one  the most quintessential of the Cotswolds villages, just on the doorstep.

For spectacular views Birch is the room you must go for! Its windows look out over the Vale of Evesham, all the way to the Black Mountains of Wales. Or for couples on a romantic break the Oak Suite is a must, primarily because of the twin set of freestanding bath tubs that look out over stunning Cotswold countryside whilst the champagne can rest casually on the little table between them.

Rates from £420 per night on a Bed & Breakfast basis. As well as your room, the rate covers a full breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day, and all sorts of other little surprises. It also includes a shuttle service to and from Dormy House or Broadway village. Also included in the rate for Foxhill Manor guests is the option to whizz up the hill to Dormy House to use the House Spa (treatments are extra).

Children over the age of 12 are welcome at Foxhill Manor. For families with younger children, Foxhill Manor's sister hotel Dormy House just up the road or The Fish Hotel just down the road would work wonderfully. If you are booking Foxhill Manor on an exclusive-use basis, then children of all ages are welcome to stay.

Bedrooms have their own in-room pantry box full of all sorts of goodies.

Dogs are welcome at a charge of £30 per dog per stay, which includes a cosy dog bed and toys.
