This exceptional Georgian property is so much more than just a hotel. Elegantly evolving, this is a living place centred on sustainability and a progressive approach to developing the relationship with the land. The Home Farm is lovingly tended and central to the Heckfield Place legacy. Each day it provides fruit, vegetables, honey and fresh flowers for the hotel restaurants and rooms. The Walled Gardens are a delight to explore and the Sun House within them can be transformed into a gorgeous venue for private dining. East of the House, Heckfield's upper and lower lakes are perfect for picturesque strolls or a cooling midsummer swim for more adventurous guests. Boating can also be enjoyed on the lower pond and there are fantastic walking and running paths through the grounds. The River Whitewater which meanders through the estate also provides the chance for some fly-fishing.

There are six distinctive room types within the main house, off the corridors and within the grounds. Signature Rooms, Chamber Rooms, Friends Rooms, Master Rooms, Guest Rooms and Cottages. Each offers something different and has its own individual character and many enjoy beautiful views of the gardens. There are 13 bedrooms in the 18th Century House, 31 bedrooms in the East and North Corridors, a range of suites within the House and Corridors and a 2 Bedroom Cottage situated within the estate grounds.

The two renowned restaurants Marble and Hearth, from culinary director Skye Gyngell, celebrate simplicity, the seasons and a sense of place. Both celebrate the land and the bounty it has to offer and whilst Marle is open for reservations to both hotel guests and outside guests, Marble is reserved just for those staying at Heckfield Place.

The Assembly at Heckfield Place is yet another draw of this delightful property, cultivating a place in which to unearth, reconnect and rediscover, with regular screenings, speakers events and hands-on workshops.

Finally The Little Bothy Spa offers a range of fitness and relaxation rooms, with an apothecary garden and 3 studios for personal training, Pilates and ballet.

Heckfield Place is idyllically set in the heart of rural Hampshire, just an hour from London by car. Should you wish to take the train the journey will take approximately an hour followed by a 15 minute transfer to the estate.

Heckfield Place is a handsome Georgian family home, lovingly restored to its historic origins and now a forward-thinking sustainable hotel in the heart of a bountiful 400 acre Hampshire estate. Less than an hours drive from London, the makeover of this stately home has been masterful and its eco-credibility will only become more impressive as the estate looks to the future with their plans to build a self-sustaining relationship between the house and the land.

Children are welcome but only over 16s can stay in the main house rooms.

Dogs are also welcome in some room types for an additional charge. Dog beds, bowls and treats can all be provided.
