10 days self-driving around Namibia
This is a great itinerary for the independent and adventurous who enjoy a good road-trip. Namibia is one of our favourite countries for road-trips as the scenery is incredible so you never need worry about getting bored on your journey. The roads are also very easy to navigate, you must just remember to fill up your tank whenever you pass a petrol station as they tend to be few and far between here. This particular itinerary will take you to some of Namibia's most spellbinding locations, including a wildlife conservancy in the Huab River Valley, the hauntingly beautiful Skeleton Coast, and finally the extraordinary NamibRand Nature Reserve, home to vast red sand dunes and mysterious fairy circles.
Prices from approximately £3,150 per person: based on two people sharing, inclusive of all flights, car hire and accommodation with your stay at Pelican Point on a Full Board basis and at Damaraland Camp and Wolwedans Dunes Camp on a Fully Inclusive basis.
Set in the Huab River Valley, Damaraland Camp offers endless views of incredible scenery in one of Namibia's best wildlife areas. It's also a great spot to search for desert adapted elephants.
Stay in an utterly unique hotel at the foot of a lighthouse on a remote peninsula. You can't get more surrounded by nature than at Pelican Point.
This is the ultimate desert-camping experience, in luxurious tents at the top of a 250 metre high dune with views that are seemingly endless in every direction.
