This is without a doubt one of the smallest and most romantic hotels we have found on the Yucatan Peninsula. It is very much so a boutique property with real charm and guests can really enjoy the peace and quiet the hotel offers. It is on the whole very much so an adult property although a small number of children are permitted at any one time and there is a dedicated kid's pool for them to preserve the tranquility around the main pool area. The hotel beach is set up with loungers and the shallow waters allow for easy swimming, snorkelling and paddle boarding as the bay is protected by an incredible coral reef resulting in calm waters all year round. Guests can also swim out to the reef to snorkel and see the superb marine life to be found there. To one side of the beach is the main spa area (there is also an additional spa area set back from the beach) where guests can indulge in luxurious treatments whilst listening to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore. Above the spa area is the newly created yoga studio, surrounded by forest and looking out over the ocean.

Also near the beach is the hotel's outdoor restaurant and cocktail terrace above it. Here guests can enjoy a range of Mexican, Italian and international cuisine. Fresh fish is a regular on the menu, the catch of the day having been superbly prepared by the hotel's excellent Italian chef.

There are just 29 different rooms at Jashita Tulum, making it one of the smallest hotels on the Riviera Maya. All of the suites have been beautifully decorated and almost all of them enjoy beautiful sea views.

Jashita Hotel is set down a long track off the main Riviera Maya road. It's just a ten minute drive from the countless restaurants and bars of Tulum and the Tulum ruins and approximately a 1hr20m drive from Cancun Airport. The hotel itself is set on Soliman Bay, a beautiful curve of beach with turquoise waters, sheltered by a promontory to the side and a lush jungle background behind the hotel.

Jashita Tulum is one of our favourite properties in Mexico because it is just such a charming and romantic little spot. Guests are really made to feel incredibly welcome and the service here is excellent. The pool area is exceptionally beautiful with palm trees towering around it and enormous comfy beanbag beds and daybeds. Almost all the bedrooms have their own private terraces and plunge pools which is another massive plus and one of the reasons we feel this hotel is so well designed for couples looking for a romantic retreat. Jashita's crowning glory though really must be it's setting. The Caribbean waters off this part of the Mexican coastline are idyllic to swim in, but only if the water isn't too choppy and rough. Jashita's protected little cove ensures that guests can enjoy the privilege of still, calm waters all year round, and really make the most of the beautiful sea.

Jashita has a 3 nights minimum stay policy and a 7 night minimum stay policy from 20th December to 10th January.

Stays are on a Bed&Breakfast basis.

Check-in time is 3pm, Check-out time is 12pm.

There are 3 pools at the hotel: an adults-only pool, a dedicated children's pool, the roof terrace pool which is available for use by all hotel guests unless specifically rented with the Jasmine Penthouse.
