Linkwasha Camp is an incredibly luxurious option, Wilderness Safari’s flagship camp within the Hwange National Park. The main part of the camp really has the ‘wow factor’ and guests will be stunned by it’s beauty on arrival. During the baking hot winter months the small swimming pool is a real relief, and guests can relax around it as they watch the wildlife coming to drink at the water hole which is pumped to provide a constant source of water throughout the year.

The 9 tents are all vastly spacious with en-suite bathrooms and private verandas that overlook the waterhole. The main part of the camp is set over several decks, raised at varying levels, and includes a lounge, bar, expansive deck and pool area, and a cosy winter dining room and library. Several fireplaces and tent sides that can be fully open make this a very comfortable camp whatever the weather.

Linkwasha Camp is situated in the renowned Hwange National Park. Easily reached from Victoria Falls by charter plane, car or train, this is a fantastic game viewing area in a convenient spot for including a safari in your holiday. The camp itself is set by the Ngamo Plains in the national park, an area renowned for it’s high quantities of wildlife during the summer in particular. It overlooks a plain and a water hole that attracts the wildlife throughout the year, particularly during the winter when it is incredibly hot and dry.

Linkwasha Camp is situated in a particularly wildlife prolific part of Hwange National Park, and Hwange itself is famed for it’s great game viewing year round. Having a pumped water hole right in front of camp means that if you can bear the heat of the winter months you can guarantee seeing huge numbers of game coming right to the camp in search of water.

Rate basis: Fully Inclusive – includes accommodation, all meals, twice daily scheduled camp activities, park fees, all local drinks and laundry. Excluded from the rate are premium imported brands and champagne, gratuities, curio purchases and any other items of a personal nature.

Linkwasha Camp can be reached via charter flight, road transfer, or self-driving. Please note that all guests self-driving will be required to drive directly into the Linkwasha concession with a 4x4 vehicle, using Davison's Camp as the only meeting and parking point. Arrival at Davison's Camp must be no later than 12pm. A Wilderness Safaris guide will then meet you and transfer you to Linkwasha Camp in a Wilderness Safaris vehicle.
