Mukul, Auberge Resorts Collection, is located on 1,675 acres of Nicaragua's blossoming southwest Pacific shore, in an expansive coastal region known as the Emerald Coast. Ideally located, this unique coastal community is only 10 minutes away from the International Costa Esmeralda Airport, and just two hours away from Managua's International Airport where the majority of international flights from major hubs land. To get to the resort from Managua guests can either opt for the two-hour drive or alternatively private charter flights can be arranged in Cessna's which seat up to twelve passengers. This flights take less than thirty minutes. If guests are travelling to Mukul from Costa Rica then there are short 30 minute flights on Sansa Airlines from Costa Rica's Liberia Airport into the Emerald Coast International Airport just ten minutes from Mukul.

The story behind Mukul is in our opinion one of the things that makes this little corner of the world so incredibly special. Mukul and Guacalito de la Isla are the vision of prominent Nicaragua entrepreneur Don Carlos Pellas, whose family's legacy can be traced back through Nicaraguan history to the 19th century. Don Carlos Pellas and his wife Vivian discovered this beautiful part of the coastline whilst sport fishing there nearly a decade ago. Long before then Don Carlos and Vivian survived one of the worse plane crashes in Central American aviation history when their plane came down in the mountains of Honduras claiming the lives of 149 people on board and leaving only nine survivors, seven excluding themselves. This event sparked a lifetime of philanthropy for Don Carlos and Vivian and they have described Mukul Resort  as 'a catalyst that will put our country on the world tourism map'.

The Mukul Spa offers six unique sanctuaries each with distinctive experiences.

The Guacalito Golf Course, designed by David McLay Kidd, is a sustainable 18-hole golf course stretching from the jungle to the beach.

Stays at Mukul are on a Bed & Breakfast basis. The rate includes use of the gym, complimentary wifi, and on-property golf buggy transfers.
