The hotel has 142 guest suites and one villa, spaced out around tropical gardens ensuring that guests have all the privacy they need. All the rooms have been completely refurbished to emphasise the 'indoor/outdoor' feel of the hotel with disappearing patio doors and island inspired colour palettes to complement the beauty outside. Each of the suites is either ocean or lagoon-facing and has it’s own balcony or terrace. There are also newly created two and three bedroom suites with interconnecting options to provide the perfect set-up for families or large groups travelling together. There is also 'Villa One', a secluded two-bedroom villa with it's own private pool and direct access to the beach that has it's own staff from butlers to private chefs to ensure unrivaled privacy and exclusivity.
A spectacular new swimming pool has now been installed at Palm Grove, the dedicated family-friendly spot on the island. This brings the total of pools across the resort to three, ensuring that families, couples and spa visitors each have their own spaces to enjoy in the right atmosphere. Also new to the resort since the renovations is Le Carré, a beautiful and casual lounge in which to relax with a grand terrace overlooking the pool and sea, the perfect place to take in all that's going on at the resort from above and, being home to the hotel's concierge, also a great place to settle in and plan some activities and excursions either in the resort or beyond.
When it comes to dining at One&Only Le Saint Géran guests really are spoilt for choice. The renowned steakhouse 'Prime' has undergone a jaw-dropping transformation and now has a magic alfresco dining courtyard and trendy new design on the interiors. 'Tapasake' is the hotel's exciting Pan Asian fusion restaurant housed in a traditional thatched Mauritian structure on stilts over the edge of the lagoon. La Terrasse is open daily for breakfast and dinner and celebrates the island's multi-cultural roots as well as offering the classic international favorites. The newly configured dining pavilions here are open-air, sitting atop sparkling water features and offering beautiful sea-view meals under the stars. Another wonderful addition to the resort is L'Artisan, the specialist coffee shop and artisanal bakery where guests can pop in for some sweet treats or just to enjoy the local café atmosphere. Finally of course no island resort would be complete without a restaurant specialising in fresh seafood and this can be enjoyed at the new restaurant, La Pointe, offering relaxed beachfront dining with grilled daily catches and casual Mauritian barbecue.
'Club One' is the exciting new centre for all things active. Set on the north of the peninsula, Club One is home to state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor fitness areas, with specific spaces for spinning, Zumba, yoga and other favourites, as well as a host of other popular sporting activities, such as the floodlit tennis courts, a volleyball court, mini golf, and Mauritius' first ever Henry Leconte Padel Courts. Club One also has it's one juice and snack bar for those energizing tit-bits before or after exercising. You can also find here the KidsOnly base and One Tribe, which offer the younger guests a wide range of tailored activities for children and teenagers, including spots, movie nights and DJ parties. For the water based fun guests can head down to the revitalised Pavilion Boat House, where you can find all the classic past-times such as kite-surfing, wind-surfing, sailing, jet skiing and fishing and stand-up paddleboarding to name a few.
For those more after relaxation than activities there is the renowned ESPA spa, offering unique treatments that combine the wisdom from traditional holistic therapies with the richness of pure natural ingredients. Beauty treatments for your hair and manicures and pedicures are also on offer here.
