Singita Boulders Lodge takes its name and inspiration from the huge and ancient weathered boulders that are scattered around the river bed of the Sand River that the lodge lies alongside. It is impeccable in its design and blends in seamlessly with the surroundings. Singita places a huge emphasis on preserving the African wilderness and not only do they contribute a huge amount to conservation efforts, but the expansive space and beauty of the Singita reserves is painstakingly preserved with lodges that take their cue from nature, reflecting the elements of the surrounding nature.

Days at Singita revolve around daily morning and evening game drives with professional guides and trackers and the afternoon game drives culminate with spot-lit drives after dusk to discover the nocturnal bush creatures. Walking safaris are also on offer for guests over the age of 16, and sundowners in special spots and bush breakfasts are other magical moments the guests can enjoy.

Every creature comfort is taken care of at Singita Boulders with pamper treatments available at the spa, in the privacy of your room, or on your private deck. There is a swimming pool in the main lodge area and for anyone wishing to work-out there is a gym with essential workout machines and weights.

There are three different accommodation options at Singita Boulders: 8 x one-bedroom River Suites, 2 x one-bedroom Bush Suites, and 2 x two-bedroom family suites.

Singita Boulders Lodge is set in the Singita Sabi Sand Reserve - a privately owned reserve in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in the northwestern corner of South Africa, on the border with Mozambique. The Singita reserve spans more than 45,000 acres, a huge expanse of land that is renowned for it's high populations of leopards and lions and for general high wildlife populations. The lodge itself is set on the banks of the Sand River, with most of the lodge looking out over the river and the wildlife that gathers there to drink.

Singita Boulders Lodge is reached by scheduled or private charter flights to the Singita airstrip which is just 10 minutes away from the lodge. These charter flights are available from either Johannesburg (1hr flight duration) or Nelspruit (30 mins).

Alternatively the lodge can be reached by road. From Johannesburg the drive takes approximately 6.5hrs or from Hazyview it is approximately a 1hr drive.

Singita Boulders is one of the most luxurious camps in not only South Africa but the whole of Africa. However unlike so many of the luxury camps it really blends in with nature and has a delightfully rustic feel to it. The lodge looks as though it grew up naturally in the bush and guests that stay at Singita Boulders will love the homely feel to it. Singita Boulders will always be one of our favourite lodges because you really just cannot fault it. The setting is magical, the guides are some of the best trained in the country, and the food and wines are just superb. The only downside is that a stay here will be setting the bar incredibly high for any future safaris!

There is complimentary wifi at the lodge. There is also mobile phone signal although this is dependant on area coverage.

Hair dryers are provided in each suite.

Children aged 10 and over are welcome at Singita Boulders Lodge. Participation in game drives is at the discretion of the guides.

Kosher or Halaal food is available when requested in advance.

Stays at Singita Boulders are on an All-Inclusive basis, including your accommodation, all meals, all drinks (including premium wines, spirits and liqueurs, but excluding French Champagne). All safari activities are included as well as transfers to and from the airstrip and laundry.
