This is one of Africa’s most exclusive and remote hideaways, in a fascinating part of Zimbabwe. The lodge is designed to be reminiscent of the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, and the natural stone and thatch contrasts wonderfully with the bold African décor inside.

There are just eight suites at Singita Pamushana, each varying in size, as well as a 5 bedroom villa. 4 of the suites are one-bedroom suites, each with a private plunge pool. Then there are 2 two-bedroom suites, 2 two-bedroom family suites, and 1 three-bedroom family suite, each also with it’s own private plunge pool. All the suites boast fantastic views as well as every luxury imaginable; such as ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers, private plunge pool, air-conditioning, fireplace, mini-bar and fridge, overhead fans and private decks with Swarovski spotting scope.

The main part of the lodge also enjoys panoramic views over the Malilangwe dam and surrounding area, and every luxury you could wish for. There are both indoor and outdoor dining areas, a bar, library, lounge, two swimming pools and a Jacuzzi in the main lodge area, a spa and gym, and, rare for a lodge this remote, complimentary Wi-Fi. There is even a wine cellar, which is home to some of the most sought after wines, and vintages Africa has to offer. These delicious wines can be enjoyed during your stay and also purchased to be taken home or conveniently delivered to your house on your return as wonderful memorabilia of your stay.

Singita Pamushana is set within the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve in southeastern Zimbabwe. This is one of the most remote parts of the country, and Singita Pamushana is without doubt the most remote lodge we work with in this part of Africa. Malilangwe remains virtually untouched by humankind and is renowned for it’s ancient bushman rock art; of which there are over 100 sites that date back more than 2,000 years. There is also a huge amount of wildlife, in particular some rare species such as Roan and Sable antelope, and black rhino. This extraordinary wildlife area is just next to the Gonarezhou National Park and each of the six enormous suites and the five-bedroom villa have private plunge pools overlooking the Malilangwe Lake.

The Singita lodges really do set the tone for all other safari lodges to aspire to and Singita Pamushana is no exception. Whoever you are, honeymooner or parent travelling with your children, you will love this lodge. The different suite sizes mean there is something for everyone and privacy is paramount so you can really enjoy your time with your loved ones.

* Please note that Singita Pamushana will be closed until 14th May 2018 as it undergoes a major transformation.
