An off-the-grid paradise with 10 over-the-water bungalows
Set in a picturesque bay of Bocas del Toro
Dive straight into the Caribbean waters from your sundeck
Azul Paradise is an off-the-grid resort in every sense of the phrase. It is remote and picturesque and visitors here enjoy a truly authentic Panamanian experience. Azul Paradise has an eco-friendly philosophy, operating a solar system to generate power and purified catchment systems for water. Time here is dictated by the sun and the tides.
Along with the ten over-the-water bungalows there is a tiki bar with beachfront grill, a Club house with lounge area, a private bar and a restaurant. Occasionally other visitors will stop by in their boats to visit the tiki bar, other that that guests can enjoy having this slice of paradise to themselves.
Each of the bungalows is comfortably equipped with cool interiors, a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower as well as a private outdoor shower, outdoor living area, a sunken lounge over-the-water and a ladder leading straight from your villa's deck into the turquoise waters. There is also 1 two-bedroom bungalow.
Azul Paradise is set over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea on Bastimentos Island in Panama's province of Bocas del Toro. This secluded part of the island is just a 30 minute boat ride from the bustling Bocas Town. To get to Azul Paradise it is a 50 minute flight from Panama City to Bocas del Toro with Air Panama, or there are flights from San Jose in Costa Rica as well. Upon landing on the main island of Isla Colon in Bocas del Toro you will be met and then taken to Azul via boat.
Remote and romantic, Azul Paradise is absolutely perfect for those looking for the idyllic over-the-water experience in combination with an exciting adventure around Panama. There is a huge amount to do here and whether you're a keen snorkeller, or just want to relax on a blissful island, Azul Paradise is certainly a place to add to your list. Whilst not as luxurious as properties you might find in the Maldives, this is a destination much more suited to those looking for something slightly more characterful, more affordably, and an out of the ordinary spot that is really off the beaten track.
Bungalows are equipped with: king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, private outdoor deck with ocean access, air-conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, eco-friendly electrical and water sources. Some also have an over-the-water hammock. The Deluxe Bungalows have an extended deck, are set further from the other bungalows, have a 180 degree ocean view, and are also equipped with a coffee maker and hair-dryer.
There are a variety of meal plan packages available including an all-inclusive option.
