This trendy hotel opened in 2012 setting the standards for boutique properties around Cape Town. The décor and service provided is impeccable and there is a range of different room types to suit every need. At the front of the property is a spacious deck with a swimming pool and sun loungers to relax on during those sunny days and tables for outdoor dining. Inside there is an additional dining area and spacious lounge for relaxing in.

In terms of rooms the 2 Junior Suites are the entry-level category and even these are spacious with private terraces and sea views. The 3 Deluxe Suites, which are slightly more spacious, follow these, each sea facing with its own private balcony. Then for families or groups travelling together there is a 2 bedroom suite or a 3 bedroom suite, making this one of the most versatile properties in Cape Town in terms of room choices. For anyone wanting a bit more privacy Cape View Clifton also has a deluxe apartment, exclusively separated and yet linked to the hotel via a bridge. It’s a fantastic option for couples or honeymooners providing a real home away from home experience but with the bonus of butler service. Finally the newest addition to the property is the Deluxe Studio Apartment, with huge floor to ceiling windows, it's own private plunge pool, a contemporary style and design, and accessed from the hotel via an interlinking bridge.

A stylish boutique hotel with arguably the best views in Cape Town, Cape View Clifton is located in the exclusive area of Clifton, just along the coast from Camps Bay and with panoramic view of the coastline, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. The four Clifton beaches are just a short walk from the property and slightly further along you have the Camps Bay promenade, lined with it’s many cafes, shops and restaurants.

The overwhelming factors that make this one of our favourite hotels are it’s location (within incredibly easy reach of all of the best parts of Cape Town), it’s décor, there are few properties that have been designed with such a discerning eye as Cape View Clifton and the end result is breathtaking, and finally the different room types really mean that whether you’re travelling as a couple or a family there is still the perfect option for you, a rarity with boutique hotels.

Cape View Clifton is approximately a 35 minute drive from the airport. There is parking available opposite the hotel. Transfers can be arranged at an additional cost. The hotel has 24-hour security.

Breakfast is included and lunches and dinners can be organised at an additional cost.

The hotel offers a full concierge service.
