The Colony Club is a beautiful place with whitewashed buildings set in tropical gardens by a white sand beach. The hotel has a colonial feel to it which perfectly complements its timeless ambience. This stems from its history as a former private Colonial Club.

The 96 rooms and suites are some of the most luxurious accommodation on the island. Housed in whitewashed buildings, each room has a private patio or balcony, and many have private access to the lagoon pool. The Garden View Junior Suites, Oceanview, Luxury Oceanview and Luxury Poolside rooms have all been recently refurbished and include espresso machines. Other room amenities include flat screen TVs, air conditioning, bathtub and showers, complimentary Wifi and yoga mats.

Some rooms can accommodate an additional adult or child, and the One Bedroom Ocean View Suites can accommodate two adults and two children on a pull out bed in the separate living area.

Colony Club is situated on the West Coast of Barbados in the St James region. The airport is a 40 minute drive away, the capital of Bridgetown is 20 minutes away and Holetown is 5 minutes away.

Colony Club is perfectly located on the island, with several excellent restaurants within easy reach. There is a sense of timeless charm at the resort and the 'Beach Ambassadors' are excellent at keeping your drinks topped up whilst you relax by the pool or on the beach.

We're particularly excited about the upcoming launch of The Rum Vault, a brand new experience that is the first of it's kind on the island, featuring a collection of 150 rums from all over the world. Guests will be offered to try a rum pairing with a dedicated rum sommelier, or to enjoy a multi-course dinner along with a rum-themed mixology class.

Children are accepted all year round apart from February which is a strictly adults-only month. Throughout other school holidays there is the Kids Corner, open for kids aged between 3 and 12, providing supervised activities all day.

There are various facilities at the hotel which include two restaurants, both of which operate an evening dress code policy. There are four freshwater lagoon swimming pools that meander through the gardens and two floodlit tennis courts. Weekly cocktail parties take place and the regular saxophonist is renowned.

Various activities are free of charge, including all non-motorised water sports and several motorised ones too.

The Executive Chef creates imaginative menus for the main Laguna Restaurant, using fresh ingredients from the hotel's organic gardens wherever possible. The farmer's market also contributes to seasonally-inspired meals. For lighter snacks throughout the day there is a swim-up and poolside bar serving cocktails and light meals.

A complimentary water taxi service is also provided to Colony Club's sister hotels on the West Coast. Together the hotel collection also offers a 'Taste of Elegance Dine Around Programme'.

Stays at The Colony Club can be on a Bed & Breakfast basis, Half-Board basis, or Full Board Basis.
