The 28 stunningly decorated rooms and suites at Kasbah Tamadot are each very different in style. They range from rooms within the main part of the hotel, each overlooking different views and parts of the gardens, to Berber Tents perched on the hillside.

The rooms within the main Kasbah have varying views, some over interior courtyards, others over the gardens, pool or Atlas Mountains. It is worth knowing that in the case of the seven Deluxe Rooms, each of which has it’s own balcony or terrace, the smaller the room the better the view.

There are four Berber Tents, which are perched on the hillside with stunning views across the Atlas Mountain range and the valley below. These are beautifully decorated and each features a terrace with sun loungers and a wonderful set up for outdoor dining.

Then there are the six Berber Tent Suites with private Jacuzzis. There are also perched on the hillside, overlooking a pretty valley below and with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. Five of these suites are located a short stroll through the herb and vegetable garden and all have views of Mount Toubkal, that Atlas’ highest peak. All are perfect for those looking for a little more luxury adventure. Like the smaller Berber tents each of these features a terrace with sun loungers and outdoor dining, however they also have their own private Jacuzzi.

Finally there is the 3 bedroom Master Suite; a miniature version of The Kasbah sitting out on a promontory and featuring three special rooms. Located near the glorious infinity pool the master suite is ideal for families as it affords complete privacy. Within, there is a Deluxe Room and a Deluxe Suite at the lower level with the private pool; these rooms can interconnect. On the upper floor is the Superior Room with a huge roof terrace.

All of the rooms at Kasbah Tamadot come with every luxury you would expect from a five star hotel and one of Richard Branson’s Virgin Portfolio. There is air-conditioning and heating throughout and all rooms and suites are furnished with plush bath robes, filtered bottles of water, docking stations for playing music, a selection of toiletries, slipper, sun hats, postcards with stamps and a complimentary minibar.

Kasbah Tamadot is located approximately 45 minutes south east from Marrakech Airport, about 1 hour from central Marrakech itself. The hotel is located in foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, and the nearest village is Asni which is along the route to Imlila and Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak.

Kasbah Tamadot is a really beautiful place and can be enjoyed at any time of year. For those wishing to really work on their tans and relax by the pool with a book then the summer months are ideal. Spring and autumn are both very popular as the temperature is just right for either lounging in the sun by the pool, or for trekking in the mountains. During spring and autumn you can often see all the seasons in one day so a variety of clothing is advised. Finally though we also think that winter is an amazing time to visit Kasbah Tamadot. The pool still tends to be a comfortable 28 degrees and the sun shines during the day but the evenings get gloriously cost and you can curl up in the library or Asmoun Lounge in front of the fire with a good book and a warm drink.

The Eve Branson Foundation plays an integral part in daily life at the hotel and most staff members are employed from nearby villages. It’s fascinating to learn about the work the foundation does with the local community and hear about it from the staff as they provide genuine Moroccan hospitality.

Marrakech is served by directed flights from the UK and many other major European hubs. On arrival at Marrakech Airport you can be met and driven to Kasbah Tamadot. The drive takes about 45 minutes through the spectacular rolling hills as you approach the Atlas Mountains. The hotel also offers a VIP meet and greet service to enable you to bypass the queues at immigration.

Children of all ages are welcome at Kasbah Tamadot and whilst they don't operate a set children's programme, knowing that all children are different they offer a fantastic range of activities for ages 12 and under that can be tailored to each child or group. Babysitting is also available for an extra charge.
