Yemaya Island Hideaway & Spa on Little Corn Island can easily be described as a utopia, one of the last undeveloped island paradises in the Caribbean. The island’s lush jungle gardens, white sand beaches, turquoise seas and colourful reefs teeming with life are all waiting to be explored. Relax in an eco-chic ocean villa, directly overlooking the Caribbean sea, and enjoy some pampering with island spa treatments, yoga classes and all manner of fun water activities. The 16 ocean front suites each come with a king sized bed, a private bathroom with indoor garden, rain shower, air-conditioning and ceiling fans and a private terrace.

Each of Yemaya's eco-chic suites are perched just above the white sand beach looking out over the ocean. The Oceanfront Suites contain a king sized bed as well as two single pullouts and can accommodate couples or families. The Oceanfront Suites with Plunge Pool contain just one king size bed and are designed for couples. Each suite has a private bathroom with an indoor garden and rain shower. The bedrooms are all equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

Yemaya's open-air thatched roof restaurant enjoys panoramic sea views and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Guests can also request intimate dinner set ups on the beach, in the privacy of their own room, or on their terrace with butler service.

Yemaya Island Hideaway & Spa is let at the northern end of Little Corn Island, one of the last undeveloped island paradises in the Caribbean. Guests fly into Big Corn Island from Managua International Airport (flight time approximately 1hr20m) and then will be driven by taxi to the port where the Yemaya boat will be waiting to take them directly to the hotel. The Corn Islands can be found around 45 miles east of the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. Little Corn Island is approximately 1.2 square miles in size.

Yemaya Little Corn Island is the most luxurious and tranquil place on an island that is as far off the beaten track as it's possible to get. Little Corn Island remains one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean and is home to just around 800 people who speak a mixture of Creole, English and Spanish. Both the Corn Islands were once under British rule and were frequently visited by pirates giving the islands a rich sense of history. The island remains very tranquil, seemingly untouched by the world. This is demonstrated particularly by the fact that cars are not allowed on the island. Whilst most accommodation on Little Corn Island is incredibly basic, Yemaya Hideaway & Spa is most definitely comfortable and charming, if not stretching quite as far as luxurious. For a remote and tranquil paradise this hotel certainly ticks the boxes although if you are looking for all the bells and whistles and a super-fast internet connection you might be better off with somewhere on the mainland.

Children over the age of 8 are welcome at Yemaya Hideaway & Spa.

Check-in is at 3pm and Check-out at 11am. There is 24hr electricity and 24hr concierge.

There is WiFi access in the restaurant and bar.

US$ are accepted on Little Corn Island but please note that there is no ATM on the island.
